Who We Are

Metro-Venture was founded on October 27, 2008 as Minnesota Moms in Business.  Realizing a need to reach out to all women business owners, it re-branded itself as Metro-Venture one year later.

Metro-Venture is a business group for women who work from home either full time or part time. Our networking and vendor events provide women entrepreneurs the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight through valuable connections made with other women business owners.

Our mission is to build a strong network of work at home women who seek to support and enrich each other through shared strategies for success in business and in life. 

Our vision is that there is room for all of us to be successful.

By limiting membership to one person per company, our focus can be placed on providing quality referrals to our members in a non compete atmosphere.

Meetings alternate every other month between Saturday Let’s Do Lunch business building sessions and fun evening networking events. Vendor fairs are held twice a year, in the Spring and Fall.
